Job summary

North Lincolnshire Council is seeking a driver to collect meals and deliver them to service users in their own homes across the North Lincolnshire area at allocated times.

You will be required to demonstrate empathy, communicate effectively, and report any concerns to your Line Manager. A driving assessment is part of the selection process, and you must present a driving licence on the assessment day.

Responsibilities

• Collect meals and deliver to service users in their own homes at allocated times.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure safety and compliance.
• Record and report any concerns to the Line Manager.
• Complete necessary paperwork and handle payments as required.
• Attend driving assessment and training as part of the role.
• Work as part of a team and adhere to safeguarding procedures.
