Job summary

IOS Care in Cardiff is seeking Female Domiciliary Care Workers/Support Workers to assist clients in their own homes. This role includes driving clients to appointments and social activities, with full or part-time hours available.

You will provide daily living support, monitor health, maintain a safe home environment, and report changes to the care team. A compassionate disposition and reliable driving is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care is preferred but not essential.
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Excellent communication with clients and families.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Caring and patient demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene and dressing.
• Prepare meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Drive clients to appointments and social activities.
• Document care and report changes in clients' conditions to appropriate personnel.
