Your Care Jobs Ltd in Cardiff is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to provide essential home care services. You will help clients with daily activities, ensure well-being and comfort, and support mobility within their own homes.

The role involves personal care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and coordination with families and healthcare professionals. A valid driving license and good English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in domiciliary care or home care setting is desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic IT skills for documenting care activities.
• Valid driver's license & access to own vehicle required — located in Cardiff or local areas.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor to interact with clients in a caring manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, oral care.
• Support client with mobility requirements within their homes.
• Communicate effectively with clients' families, and healthcare professionals.
• Prompting/administrating medication.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist in meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
