Job summary

ReachOut24 Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic, compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes across the community. You will deliver personal care, medication support, meal preparation and companionship, with specialist care for clients living with dementia or receiving end-of-life care.

Full training and ongoing support are provided, and a £500 welcome bonus is offered to new carers who join the team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable approach to care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to meet changing client needs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming.
• Support clients with medication administration as per care plans.
• Prepare meals and support dietary requirements.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and use of mobility aids.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Carry out light household tasks to maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Follow individual care plans and report changes or concerns.
• Deliver specialist care for clients with dementia or those in hospice care.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and the wider care team.
