Durham County Council is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support at the Charles Dickens Extra Care Scheme in Barnard Castle. The role involves shift patterns starting early, with a rotating seven-day roster, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Applicants should be able to undertake personal care duties as required and work with service users in a community setting.

Formación

• Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undertake personal care duties.
• Ability to work on own initiative after induction.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality care and support to service users at the Charles Dickens Extra Care Scheme in Barnard Castle.
• Arrive on time for shifts (7am where required) and work a rotating 7-day rota including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Complete a comprehensive induction and build positive relationships with service users and colleagues.
