Job summary

Candlelight Care is looking for enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our friendly, family-run team. You will support vulnerable adults in their own homes across Wincanton, Somerset and surrounding areas, with shifts typically 7am-2pm and/or 4pm-10pm, including alternate weekends.

We offer full training and progression opportunities, and a supportive environment to help you grow in health and social care. Driving is helpful but not always essential depending on location.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care is desirable.
• Ability to provide emotional and practical support to adults living at home.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and practical support to clients at home (personal care, meal prep, domestic tasks).
• Support clients with medications, mobility aids and personal equipment, and monitor wellbeing.
• Encourage independence while safeguarding client wellbeing and reporting significant changes to the Registered Manager.
