Job summary

Candlelight Care in the Glastonbury area is seeking enthusiastic, caring individuals to support vulnerable adults at home. You will provide emotional and practical assistance, from personal care to meal prep, mobility aids, and safeguarding wellbeing.

We offer full-time and part-time roles with flexible shifts (7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm), training and NVQ opportunities, mileage rewards, a pension, and inclusion in a friendly, family-run team.

Qualifications

• Calm, patient demeanor in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, assistance with daily living activities and meal preparation.
• Support clients with medication, mobility aids and personal equipment as required.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes to the Registered Manager.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to promote independence.
• Complete domestic tasks and ensure a safe, clean home environment.
