Job summary

Local Solutions in Merseyside is seeking Care Assistants (Walkers & Drivers) to provide personal care at clients' homes in Sefton and surrounding areas. No experience required; full training will be provided.

The role offers a real living wage and a generous mileage allowance, with weekday and weekend pay rates. You will support service users to maintain independence, follow care plans, and document care activities.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal/domestic care to service users in their own homes within Sefton and surrounding areas.
• Promote good care practice, preserve dignity and independence, and respect cultural and religious needs.
• Meet physical, social and emotional needs as per care plan; support independent living.
• Liaise with other staff, agencies and community nurses involved in care.
• Help service users maintain daily living skills and use equipment when required.
• Maintain records and report significant changes to the Line Manager.
• Be part of a community-based team and work flexibly with colleagues.
• Adhere to Local Solutions policies and promote anti-discriminatory practice.
