Job summary

Bluebird Care Harrogate is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support customers in their own homes. You will work independently or within a team to provide high-quality daily living assistance, following individual care plans and ensuring dignity and comfort for each client.

The role requires a full UK driving license and reliable vehicle access, with training provided. Competitive hourly pay and 28 days holiday (pro rata) are offered, along with ongoing professional development and flexible

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship or visa transfer
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person's needs
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly face for customers and follow care plans
