Job summary

Homecare Gurus is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to clients in Cardiff and Brighton, helping maintain independence and dignity in their own homes or care settings. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals and daily living activities while delivering compassionate companionship.

Required: minimum 6 months care experience, right to work in the UK, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months care experience (preferred).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support mobility and transfers.
• Administer or prompt medication as required.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding where necessary.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as shopping, cleaning and laundry.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
