Job summary

Home Instead is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to support older adults in Wareham, Swanage, Purbeck and surrounding areas. You’ll be matched with a small group of regular clients and enjoy visits of at least 1 hour to provide genuine care and companionship.

You'll help with daily routines, personal care, meals, light tasks and accompany clients to activities. A full UK driving licence and reliable vehicle are required; training is provided and there are progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Access to a reliable vehicle.
• Mornings/evenings and every other weekend availability.
• No previous care experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with morning and evening routines.
• Support with personal care (dressing/showering).
• Prompt medication reminders.
• Prepare simple meals.
• Light household tasks.
• Accompany clients to appointments, shopping or social activities.
