Job summary

ICare Group is seeking a Home Care Assistant (Drivers or Walkers) to support Halewood and Knowsley clients in their own homes. Earn £13.45–£13.70 per hour with a £250 Welcome Bonus and paid mileage between care calls. Flexible hours cover 7am–10pm, Monday–Sunday, with full induction and ongoing training.

You’ll provide personal care with dignity, help with daily routines and meals, offer companionship, and travel between clients in the local community, making a meaningful difference every day.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Support washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assist with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Provide medication prompts and support per care plans.
• Carry out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Support with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Build positive relationships with the people you support.
• Promote independence and person-centred care.
• Travel between clients' homes in the local community.
• Work as part of a supportive care team.
