Job summary

ICare Group is seeking Home Care Assistants (Driver) to support clients in Helsby and Runcorn. You will help people live independently at home with dignity, safety, and compassion, traveling between visits across the local community.

We offer full training, ongoing support and development, and a £250 welcome bonus for new drivers who meet the requirements. Join a values-led team dedicated to person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout Helsby (WA6) and Runcorn (WA7/WA8).
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans.
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support.
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care.
• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team.
• Travelling between clients' homes across the local community.
