Job summary

ICare Group in Bury is seeking a Home Care Assistant (Driver required) to support people in their own homes, helping them stay independent with dignity and wellbeing.

You'll travel between clients in the local community, provide personal care, help with washing, dressing, meals and medications, and maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.

We offer flexible hours, weekly pay, mileage payments, a £125 Welcome Bonus, full induction and training, and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout the Bury area.
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.
• Previous care experience welcome but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans.
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment.

• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support.
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care.
• Travelling between clients' homes across the local community.
