Job summary

Candlelight Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Care Workers to support vulnerable adults in their own homes across Sherborne, Dorset and surrounding areas in the United Kingdom. The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with varied shifts, including mornings and evenings, and alternating weekends.

You will help with personal care, meal preparation and daily tasks while monitoring wellbeing and promoting independence, with training and NVQ progression on offer.

Qualifications

• Calm, patient and able to handle challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and practical support to clients, including assisting with personal care and meal preparation.
• Support clients with medication, mobility aids and personal equipment where required, and monitor wellbeing.
• Report significant changes in health or circumstances to the Registered Manager.
• Encourage clients to remain as independent as possible while safeguarding wellbeing.
