Job summary

Avery Healthcare is recruiting for a Food and Beverage Team Member at Guildford House Care Home in Guildford, Surrey. You will help residents choose meals, keep dining areas inviting, and ensure dishes and crockery are refreshed throughout the day.

A caring, patient approach and strong hygiene standards are essential. Experience in a similar setting such as a restaurant or hotel is desirable, and a basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial.

Qualifications

• DBS disclosure check is required and cost covered by Avery Healthcare.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is required.
• High standards of personal hygiene are essential.
• Compassion and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with choosing meal options at dining time.
• Ensuring dining tables are set according to SOPs.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; replacing dirty crockery.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits and fruit options are replenished in bistro areas.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.
