Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Food and Beverage Team Member to support dining services for residents in our Redhill care homes. You will assist residents with meals, help keep dining areas clean and well-presented, and ensure dietary requirements are observed.

The role suits those with high hygiene standards and compassionate service; prior hospitality experience is desirable, and a basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.
• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel would be desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with choosing their meal options at dining time.
• Ensure dining tables are set in accordance with standard procedures.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; remove and replenish dirty crockery.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits and finger foods are available in the bistro area and replenished.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.
