Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member to join the Silvermere Care Home in Cobham. You will support the dining service and assist residents with their meals, delivering compassionate care in a luxurious elderly care setting.

You will help residents choose meals, set tables, and keep front of house clean and well-presented. A basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial and a DBS check will be completed by Avery; proof of eligibility to work in the UK is

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering dining services to residents.
• Experience in a similar setting (restaurant or hotel) desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support with dining service and assist residents with meals.
• Assist residents in choosing meal options at dining times.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; clear and replenish crockery.
• Replenish fresh cakes/biscuits, finger foods and fruit in the bistro areas.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.
