Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member for Moorlands Lodge Care Home in Surrey. You will support the dining service and assist residents with meals, contributing to a caring, respectful environment.

You will participate in duties such as serving meals, maintaining dining areas, and accommodating dietary needs. DBS check and UK eligibility are required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Having experience working in a similar setting, restaurant, or hotel would be desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in choosing meal options.
• Set dining tables according to SOPs.
• Keep front of house clean and presentable; clear and replenish crockery.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are available and replenish finger foods and fruit.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.
