Job summary

Sense Scotland is recruiting a compassionate Female Support Worker to join a small team supporting two individuals in their own home in the Northfield area of Aberdeen.

Both individuals are deaf and have a learning disability; you will provide person-centred support, including medication, personal care, and assisting with activities such as swimming, football, arts and crafts, and holidays abroad. A full UK driving licence is essential and flexibility for weekends and sleepovers is required.

Qualifications

• Female only role as defined by Equality Act 2010.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Flexibility to work weekends and sleepovers.
• Caring, patient and positive attitude; previous care experience beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs, including medication, personal care and household tasks.
• Assist with appointments and financial support.
• Encourage activities such as swimming, football, arts and crafts, and holidays abroad.
• Support two individuals in their own home in Northfield, Aberdeen.
