Job summary

Elizabeth Finn Homes seeks a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, dignified personal care to residents, promoting independence and wellbeing. You will work with clinical teams to create a safe, engaging environment where residents thrive.

You'll follow care plans, document accurately, and support social activities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Externally, you’ll meet English-language requirements and pursue ongoing learning opportunities to enhance care

Qualifications

Secondary education with good numeracy and literacy.
Ability to communicate clearly in English.
Level 2 in Care (or willingness to work towards it).
Experience caring for older people.
Basic knowledge of Care Workers' Codes of Practice.

Responsibilities

Deliver personal care in line with care plans and procedures, documenting accurately.
Report any changes, concerns, incidents, or complaints promptly to senior staff.
Support residents with social activities, routines, and meaningful engagement.
Maintain a clean, safe, secure environment and ensure equipment is used/stored safely.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies; take responsibility for ongoing learning and development.
