Job summary

CrossReach in Scotland is seeking caring and reliable individuals to support older people in living well. You will work as part of a team, providing personal care, companionship and daily living assistance with dignity and compassion.

You will hold or be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare. This role requires PVG scheme membership and registration with the SSSC, with full induction and training provided.

Qualifications

• You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.
• This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities
• Assist with meals and encourage nutrition and hydration
• Promote independence, choice and wellbeing
• Encourage participation in activities and social opportunities
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures and best practice
