Job summary

Caron Group is a family of care homes across mid and south Wales. We are seeking dedicated Care Practitioners to join our team to look after the physical, psychological and social needs of residents, delivering high-quality care with privacy, dignity and choice at the core.

As a Care Practitioner you’ll work as a Keyworker for assigned residents, assist with daily living activities, maintain records, attend mandatory training and contribute to a supportive, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and a compassionate demeanour are essential.
• Ability to relate to and care for older people in a sensitive manner.
• Integrity and a patient, respectful approach to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, undressing, toileting, bathing, and feeding.
• Provide care for residents confined to bed.
• Help residents with mobility and use of personal aids.
• Promote residents' wellbeing through conversation and activities.
• Make beds, tidy rooms and undertake cleaning duties.
• Attend mandatory training and read relevant reports.
• Work as a Keyworker for an assigned group of residents.
• Night Duty tasks: restock incontinence wear and clean areas.
• Inspect and collect dirty laundry.
