Presbyterian Church in Ireland is recruiting Care Assistants for Adelaide House to support older residents in a warm, Christian ethos environment. Roles are 24 or 36 hours per week, with full training provided and NVQ/QCF progression up to Level 3.

You will work flexibly across the rota, deliver compassionate care and help residents maintain dignity and independence. No experience is required as comprehensive induction and support are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to undertake induction/training and NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care
• English literacy and numeracy to required standard
• Willing to maintain registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC)
• Flexibility to work across the rota with 24 or 36 hours per week

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate care to residents with dignity and respect at all times
• Assist residents with dressing, personal hygiene, mobility and daily activities
• Encourage independence while offering support as needed
• Administer medication after appropriate training
• Support social and recreational activities and accompany residents on trips
• Maintain accurate written and computerised records
• Follow safety procedures and NISCC Code of Practice
• Attend training and team meetings to develop skills
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care
