Job summary

Stuart House Care Home in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable living environment for residents with complex needs. You will carry out cleaning across bedrooms, communal areas and shared spaces, ensuring high hygiene standards and infection control while supporting a calm, homely atmosphere.

This role offers fixed shifts 9 AM–4 PM, 21 hours a week, DBS paid, pension, uniform provided and onsite parking, plus pro rata annual

Qualifications

• Reliable and hardworking with good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Respectful and privacy-conscious in residents’ rooms.
• Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Willingness to learn cleaning procedures and infection control guidance.
• Previous cleaning or domestic experience is beneficial but not essential.
