Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group is hiring a Domestic Assistant to join our care team in the UK. You will help keep the Home clean and safe for residents and staff, supporting overall care operations with attention to hygiene and comfort.

The role requires the right to work in the UK and willingness to work within commutable distance to the location. Apprenticeships may be available and a supportive benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Understand Health and Social Care Act 2008.
• Ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Genuine interest in working in a social care environment.
• Demonstrate care and compassion; team player.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Company Mission Statement at all times.
• Ensure the Home’s furniture, furnishings and fittings are clean.
• Ensure all surfaces of floors, walls and ceilings are clean.
• Clean carpets when necessary.
• Empty wastebaskets and bins daily and dispose of waste safely.
• Clean internal windows monthly.
• Clean bedrooms weekly; communal areas daily.
• Clean sinks, en-suites, bathrooms and toilets daily.
• Store chemicals in line with COSHH requirements.
• Restock paper products and dispensers.
