Job summary

Avery Healthcare in Herne Bay is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member to support dining services for residents at Miramar Care Home. You will help residents with meals, set tables, keep front of house clean, and replenish snacks and fresh fruit throughout the day.

The role welcomes those with care or hospitality experience, a basic Food Hygiene Certificate is helpful, and any DBS check will be provided by Avery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents.
• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel would be desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with choosing meal options and dining assistance.
• Set dining tables according to SOPs.
• Keep front of house clean and well-presented; clear and replenish crockery throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits, finger foods and fresh fruit are available in the dining areas.
• Be aware of each resident's dietary requirements.
