Nellsar Care Group is hiring a Dining Assistant at Hengist Field Care Home in Sittingbourne, Kent. The role involves supporting residents at mealtimes, delivering high-quality dining experiences, and working within a supportive team.

The position offers 36 contracted hours per week, including every other weekend, at £13 per hour. Nellsar provides training, development opportunities, and DBS support as part of its commitment to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or hospitality is beneficial.
• Ability to follow dietary requirements and care plans.
• Commitment to cleanliness and infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service, serving meals attractively and promptly.
• Follow food hygiene standards and safety regulations.
• Modify diets per residents' dietary requirements and care plans.
• Respect residents' dietary preferences and privacy.
• Prepare refreshments and maintain hydration stations.
• Assist with tea service and tea rounds.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, visitors and colleagues.
• Keep dining areas and equipment clean and tidy.
