Job summary

Avery Healthcare is recruiting a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member for Mousehold View Care Home in Norwich. You will support the dining service and assist residents with their meals, helping to create a positive and dignified mealtime experience.

You will follow established SOPs, set dining tables, keep the front of house clean and well-presented, replenish crockery and serve fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods and fruit.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a similar setting (care home, restaurant, or hotel) preferred.
• Basic Food Hygiene knowledge or certificate is beneficial.
• Ability to show compassion and commitment to resident dining services.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with choosing meal options during dining.
• Set dining tables and follow standard operating procedures for dining service.
• Keep front of house area clean, tidy and well-presented; clear and replenish crockery.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are available and replenished; provide finger foods and fresh fruit as needed.
• Be aware of residents’ dietary requirements and accommodate accordingly.
