Job summary

DWI Consulting is seeking a dedicated Care Support Worker to assist older people living with dementia or frailty in a short-stay setting in Kent. You will provide personal care, reassurance and emotional support to enhance wellbeing.

The role focuses on promoting independence through tailored care plans and rehabilitation activities, with accurate records and timely reporting of safeguarding or wellbeing concerns. A compassionate, person-centred approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable adults, ideally older people.
• Compassionate communication and a person-centred approach.
• Level 2 Adult Care/Care Certificate, or willingness to work towards these.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, reassurance and emotional support.
• Help individuals regain independence through tailored care plans and rehabilitation activities.
• Maintain accurate care records and report safeguarding or wellbeing concerns.
