Job summary

Shaw healthcare (Group) Ltd is recruiting a Support Worker for Llwyn Teg, in Llanfyllin, Powys. The role includes 24, 30, or 42 hour contracts at £13.67 per hour, with shift times covering early and late periods.

The care home focuses on dementia care and aims to deliver compassionate, person-centred support in a homely setting. Full training and ongoing development opportunities are provided, with emphasis on dignity, inclusion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan.
• Offering personal care including bathing, dressing and hygiene.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents.
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion.
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting colleagues in day-to-day duties.
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment.
