Job summary

The Foresters Nursing Home is seeking a Cook/Chef to prepare wholesome, appetising meals for residents in a caring, home-like environment. Location: Walton Pool Lane, Clent, Stourbridge. Pay £13.00 per hour, full-time role with induction, mandatory training and ongoing development.

You will follow rotating menus, cater for dietary needs, maintain food safety records, and work with the care team to ensure meals meet high safety and quality standards. On-site parking available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wholesome meals from fresh ingredients following rotating menus.
• Bake cakes, biscuits and desserts for residents.
• Cater to dietary needs and collaborate with the care team.
• Keep food safety records, temperature checks and cleaning schedules up to date.
• Organise stock, minimise waste and support kitchen staff in daily tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen.
