Job summary

Autism Plus in Hull is seeking a Complex Care Support Worker (Male Only) to support adults and young people with autism, learning disabilities and mental health needs. The role involves working across a rolling rota, including days, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays, in a local community setting.

You will deliver person-centred support, assist with daily living tasks, health and wellbeing activities and enable access to community opportunities while respecting privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings or supporting adults with complex needs is beneficial.
• Ability to build rapport and support independence.
• Good communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in their home in line with Care Plans.
• Offer positive behaviour support and de-escalation strategies.
• Assist with household tasks, personal care and paperwork.
