Job summary

Superior Healthcare is recruiting a Complex Healthcare Assistant to support a client in Tunbridge Wells at home. The role involves providing 24-hour support for a gentleman living with a spinal cord injury, who uses an electric wheelchair and requires daily catheter care.

You will follow care plans, assist with gentle exercises, and help the client stay active and independent, including activities he enjoys such as fishing, while delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK-based care experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Full Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Show the client dignity and respect at all times.
• Refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care.
• Be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
• Be calm, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
• Closely observe and monitor the client and keep thorough documentation.
