Job summary
Superior Healthcare are urgently looking for Healthcare Assistants to support a client in Tunbridge Wells. The role requires compassion and reliability to provide 24-hour home care for a gentleman with a spinal cord injury who uses an electric wheelchair and a suprapubic catheter.
Shifts are 8am-8pm, 8pm-8am and 8am-2pm, Monday to Sunday. You must have a UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK. Training is provided and opportunities to progress with NVQ/Diploma are available.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months UK-based care experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Full Right to work in the UK.
- Based in the UK or eligible to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Show the client dignity and respect at all times.
- Refer to and follow care plans to ensure person-centred care.
- Advocate for the client in line with policies and procedures.
- Be calm, friendly and engaging around client interests and hobbies.
- Maintain thorough documentation and close observation of the client.
