Job summary

Continuity of Care Services is seeking a calm, compassionate Support Worker to provide person-centred support to a young woman with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy and complex communication needs.

You will help her enjoy everyday activities and access the wider community, with a 09:30–15:30 schedule, 2–3 days per week including Fridays, and travel in your own vehicle when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in community support or social services.
• Experience with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Epilepsy.
• Experience with Autism-related communication needs.
• Full UK driving licence with access to your own car & business insurance (essential).
• Eligibility to work in the UK; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to the client in community settings.
• Transport the client in your own vehicle when required.
• Help the client enjoy everyday activities and access the wider community.
• Maintain a calm, gentle, reassuring approach and respond with kindness.
