Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking Clinical Support Workers to assist on ward areas under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You will engage with patients, support nurses, help with personal care, monitor basic observations, and assist with feeding in a busy hospital environment.

The role requires a kind, caring, and flexible approach, with the ability to work across days, nights, weekends and holidays in a 24/7 service model.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively with patients.
• Support Registered Nurses and Midwives in patient care.
• Assist with washing and dressing patients.
• Take physiological observations.
• Make beds and maintain clean patient areas.
• Serve meals and help patients with feeding.
• Provide emotional support by listening and talking to patients.

Responsibilities
