Job summary

SCR is seeking passionate Childrens Support Workers in Birmingham to join a flexible full-time team. You will support young people’s emotional wellbeing, promote rights and choices, and deliver care to a high standard.

You’ll have the ability to work on a rota with flexible hours including sleep-ins if needed. A full UK driving licence is preferred and prior experience in similar settings is welcome.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People (great but not essential)
• 6 months minimum experience in similar setting
• Empathetic and non-judgemental
• Can-do attitude

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standard of care and support young persons’ emotional wellbeing
• Work as part of a team to support service users maximise their choices, rights and decisions
• Flexible full-time rota with sleep-ins if needed
