Avamere Communities is seeking a dedicated caregiver for Assisted Living or Memory Care at Avamere at St Helens. The role covers ADL support, emotional companionship, housekeeping, and monitoring residents’ safety and well-being. Shifts include swing and nocturnal with rotating days off.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience as a Caregiver in a Memory Care Unit or Assisted Living Facility.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.
• Must obtain a Food Handler’s Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance and help with transfers and mobility aids.
• Help with meal preparation and tray removal.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Monitor health, observe changes, and report concerns to staff.
