Job summary

Avon Search is hiring a Healthcare Assistant for a small, family-owned residential care home in Allendale, Northumberland. The role focuses on person-centred care for 13 residents with learning disabilities and complex needs, in a warm, supportive environment.

The position is full-time, averaging 35 hours per week, with a rolling rota including day and night shifts and paid breaks. A compassionate, professional approach and good teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care setting is preferred.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
• A caring, patient, and professional approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities.
