Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC is seeking a Med Tech for Memory Care at Avamere at St Helens. The role focuses on administering medications and providing direct care to residents in a full-time day-shift setting.

You will pass medications, document in resident records, and collaborate with nurses to ensure safe, person-centered care. A friendly, professional demeanor and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Caregiver and Medication Tech in Memory Care.
• Active CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Food Handler’s Card required.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders under supervision and in accordance with policy.
• Administer medications accurately and timely.
• Record medications in the resident records.
• Notify the pharmacy or family when refills are needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and room.
• Monitor and report medication side effects to Health Services.
• Follow care plans and perform delegated nursing tasks as assigned.
• Assist with medical appointments and advocate for residents.
