Job summary

CareTech is recruiting Support Workers for day and night shifts at Roborough, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. This is a permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week role on a rota basis.

We value person-centred care, offer ongoing training, career progression, a range of benefits, and flexibility to work across shifts. Applicants should be caring, patient and reliable, with good communication and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caring environment is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work across days, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Good communication skills to engage with residents.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Confidence to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Passionate about making a difference to residents’ lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.
• Work on a rota including days, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Ensure clear communication with residents and wider service team.
• Maintain calmness under pressure and safety.
• Participate in ongoing training and progression opportunities.
