Job summary

CareTech is recruiting Support Workers for days and nights to join Roborough House, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. This permanent, full-time role is 40 hours per week on a rota and pays £13.03 per hour.

We welcome both new entrants and experienced carers. You will work as part of a friendly team, communicate effectively with residents and adapt to flexible shift patterns, including weekends and bank holidays, to help people live independent,

Qualifications

• Experience in a Caring environment is preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Good communication skills, allowing you to engage & interact with our residents.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure.
• Confidence to work alone and also be part of our wider service team.
• Passionate about making a difference to our resident's lives.

Rate: £13.03 per hour

About the Service - Roborough House provides expert care and treatment for adults with complex support needs, resulting from mental health disorders, dementias, strokes and progressive neurological conditions and associated comorbidities such as epilepsy, dysphagia, diabetes and behaviours that may challenge a mainstream nursing home.
