Job summary

Life-Line Care 4 U Limited in Nelson, England, is seeking a dedicated Care Worker to provide compassionate support in various care settings, promoting independence and safety for the people you care for.

You will assist with personal care, help with meals, monitor wellbeing, and maintain accurate records, following safeguarding protocols and CQC standards. A driver’s license is beneficial and flexibility to work shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home or home care settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person focused care according to individual care plans.
• Help clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and other personal care needs.
• Support with medication and health monitoring per care plans.
• Prepare meals and assist with domestic duties as required.
• Provide company and emotional support, while encouraging independence and dignity.
• Provide mental-health, reablement, and palliative/end-of-life care as needed.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate patient care records.
• Follow safeguarding protocols and CQC standards.
• Collaborate with families and colleagues to ensure continuity of care.
