Job summary

Naija UK Connect Limited is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support individuals in their homes and care settings across the UK. The role focuses on compassionate, person-centred care, helping clients maintain independence, dignity and quality of life under care plans, with strong communication with clients and families.

A full UK driving licence is essential as the role involves travelling between client locations.

Qualifications

Caring, patient and compassionate approach.
Good spoken and written English.
Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between client locations.
Experience in home care, supported living or a care home preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
Supporting clients with washing, dressing and other personal needs
Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition
Supporting medication administration in line with care plans and procedures
Providing companionship and emotional support
Helping clients maintain their independence and wellbeing
Following individual care plans and ensuring care is delivered safely and appropriately
Monitoring clients’ wellbeing and reporting changes to the relevant healthcare professionals
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records
Communicating professionally with clients, families and other members of the care team
Travelling to clients’ homes and attending appointments where required
Participating in training sessions and team meetings
