Job summary

CrossReach is seeking a Care Worker to support older people to live with dignity, independence and comfort. You will assist with personal care, meals and daily activities, working as part of a team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care.

Training and development opportunities are provided, with a commitment to their wellbeing. Membership of PVG and registration with the SSSC are required, with SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare preferred or pursued.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare or willingness to work toward.
• PVG Scheme membership required.
• Registration with the SSSC required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and day-to-day living.
• Assist with meals and promote nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage independence and individual choice.
• Help residents stay active and engaged in daily life.
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care.
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures.
