Job summary

Priory SL South Wales seeks a Support Worker to assist seven non-ambulant, non-verbal tenants with complex health needs in a compassionate team. You will support daily living activities and health-related tasks in a safe, respectful environment.

You’ll be involved in personal care, mobility support, medication administration, and coordinating appointments, with ongoing training and career development offered by Priory.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent; willingness to pursue NVQ within six months.
• GCSEs in English and Maths are required or expected.
• Experience in a related environment is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manual handling, medication, mealtime and money management, health appointments and correspondence.
• Undertake routine tasks and activities to support resident wellbeing and dignity.
• Support service users in decision making and goal planning, documenting progress.
