Job summary

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a passionate and caring Support Worker for The Grove in Ystradgynlais, Swansea. You will help residents with daily living and provide person-centred care.

No experience is required; full training and ongoing support are provided. You will work in a warm, welcoming environment with flexible shift patterns.

Salary is £13.67 per hour; contracts are 17.5 and 21 hours. Shift times are 07:15-14:45 and 14:15-21:45, with the home connected to local amenities.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
• Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting colleagues in day-to-day duties
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
