Zusammenfassung

CYGNET is seeking a confident Care & Support Worker to provide person-centred care at Dove Valley Mews, a residential service for adults with learning disabilities. You will work full time (42 hours) on 12-hour shifts, with an alternating weekend pattern on a two-week rolling rota.

You’ll support individuals in daily activities, encourage independence and help with medical and welfare needs, while ensuring a safe, clean environment and community engagement. DBS check is required.

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Safeguard and report on medical and welfare needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
• Support service users to access the community and participate in work, college, hobbies and activities, days out and holidays.
• Engage service users in tasks such as cooking and cleaning to support growth.
