Job summary

Dovehaven Care Homes is hiring a Domestic Assistant for Hope House in Accrington. The role covers cleaning duties to create a safe, welcoming home for residents, and supporting laundry services as needed.

You will work 24 hours per week over 3 days (8am - 4:30pm) on a rota with alternate weekend availability. A caring attitude and reliability are essential for delivering high standards of cleanliness and resident comfort.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a clean, safe environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule (hoovering, dusting, polishing, mopping).
• shampooing carpets and handling laundry tasks as required.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and appearance within the home.
• Support residents with dignity and respect during daily routines.
